INFORMATION ASSURANCE ENGINEER

ARMR Solutions is looking for an Information Assurance engineer to provide security support/guidance to engineering and technical IT-related activities within a government organization. In addition, the candidate shall provide day-to-day support and oversight of all Information Assurance, Certification & Accreditation and Assessment & Authorization activities, including closely coordinating and track risks, accreditation status, and reporting status across project teams and sponsor leadership. Generate security plans as required and be the security advocate for all system/architecture changes. Assemble and submit C&A packages to Principal Accreditation Authority/ Designated Accreditation Authority. Maintain a document repository where C&A project documentation is stored.


Required Qualifications:

  • An active Full-Scope Polygraph Clearance

  • The candidate shall possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT security and information assurance

  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Information Assurance policies and regulations and how they relate to the certification and accreditation process.

  • Experience authoring and maintaining systems security documentation including documentation of security mitigations and successful completion ICD503 accreditation process

  • Demonstrated experience navigating the Sponsor's security and accreditation process to include certification and accreditation of an IT system to Authority to Operate (ATO)

  • The candidate shall possess knowledge and experience in generating appropriate security documentation to receive proper accreditation from Directorate security personnel and correcting security shortfalls as they are identified through Agency sponsored reviews

  • Understanding of cyber environment and threats of our cyber adversaries

  • Familiar with how to architect and implement the systems developments form a security perspective

  • Strong technical skills and analytic ability

  • Good communication skills, written and oral

WINDOWS SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

ARMR Solutions is seeking a motivated experienced Windows Systems Administrator in the WMA area. The right candidate must possess the knowledge and skills to take lead on the creation of Windows based servers and workstations.  


Required:

  • Current TS/SCI & Poly Required

  • 5+ years of experience with Windows operating systems

  • 5+ years of experience with building Windows based servers (bare metal & virtual)

  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory

  • 3+ years of demonstrated ability to create and implement individual and group level policies via Active Directory – access control being a major function

  • 3+ years of experience with logging and monitoring tools, including ability to configure appropriate logging

  • 2+ years of PowerShell scripts 

  • Ability to document system builds and capture architecture and workflow diagrams

  • Attentiveness and detail-oriented approach

  • Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to think critically and exhibit strong problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends or holidays as required



Desired:


  • Knowledge of Python

  • Understanding of network technologies, including Layer 2, Layer 3, VPN, Routing, Switching, and Firewalls

  • Basic Knowledge of Linux

  • Experience in a ticket-based work environment a plus (e.g., ServiceNow)

LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

ARMR Solutions has an opening for a motivated, experienced  Linux Systems Administrator in the WMA Area.  The right candidate must possess the knowledge and skills to take lead on the creation of Linux based servers and workstations.  Candidate will work on both bare metal and virtual servers.  Work will include systems design, building, and configuration to work within existing large data infrastructure.  


Required:


  • Current TS/SCI & Poly Required

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems

  • 5+ years of experience with building Linux based servers (bare metal & virtual)

  • 3+ years of demonstrated ability to create and implement individual and group level policies

  • 3+ years of experience with logging and monitoring tools, including ability to configure appropriate logging

  • 2+ years of writing python scripts 

  • 2+ years of vmware

  • Ability to document system builds and capture architecture and workflow diagrams

  • Attentiveness and detail-oriented approach

  • Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to think critically and exhibit strong problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may include nights, weekends or holidays as required
